This chapbook outlines the history and work of four different graphic artists of personal influence: MinaLima, Gris Grimly, Brett Helquist, and Wes Wilson. Each artist has their own section, which is introduced by an iconic work of theirs overlaid with a vellum page containing their name in hand drawn type. Each section also contains a mini “sketchbook” or “portfolio” which contains numerous examples of the artist’s work in various stages of completion. These add a level of interaction, which combined with the hand crafted feel of the chapbook, adds a level of intimacy to the entire piece.
